All students planning to graduate spring 2017 must apply for graduation online at https://howdy.tamu.edu beginning January 4, 2017 on the My Record tab. Graduation applications submitted after February 17, 2017 will be assessed a late fee EXCEPT, the College of Dentistry, Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, College of Medicine, College of Nursing, and School of Public Health. Students requesting a name change for graduation related purposes must complete a name change request before February 24, 2017. The online application will be open through 11:59 p.m. April 18, 2017. Applications submitted after that date must be submitted in the Office of the Registrar. The application deadline is May 2, 2017 for students who will complete requirements in the spring semester.
Graduation applications will not be accepted after 5 p.m. May 2, 2017. If you miss this deadline, you must apply for August 2017 graduation.
Per Student Rule 14.2, degree candidates must be enrolled in or have completed all degree requirements by 5 p.m. April 18, 2017 either in residence at Texas A&M University or at another college or university. Degree Requirement Verification in courses at other institutions must be provided to the Degree Audit Office by April 18, 2017 to graduate in May 2017.
Students who have not cleared financially with the Office of Student Business Services (979-847-3337) will not receive a diploma at graduation.
Students planning to graduate in August 2017 may begin filing applications for degrees on May 17, 2017. The filing deadline for students completing degree requirements during the summer 2017 term is July 10, 2017.
