Caps and gowns may be ordered online and are distributed by the following retailers:
Stoles for Latin honor graduates will be distributed before each graduation ceremony. Look for the table in the area where you are lining up for graduation.
Regalia for Honors Fellows, Undergraduate Research Scholars, or students graduating with a college or departmental Honors distinction will be distributed at the LAUNCH Recognition Ceremony. Questions regarding the recognition ceremony should be directed to the Honors Programs office at 845-1957 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
These stoles and medallions are approved to be worn by the graduate during and kept after the commencement ceremony.
Members of the Corps of Cadets who are Bachelor's Degree candidates may wear the Class "A" cadet uniform (senior boots optional) in lieu of academic regalia.
Former members of the Corps of Cadets who desire to wear a cadet uniform in lieu of academic regalia for graduation ceremonies should report to the Office of the Commandant. A letter of authorization is necessary for permission to wear a cadet uniform during commencement ceremonies. Rented uniforms will be obtained from the Military Property Warehouse no later than the day before the first commencement ceremony and must be returned by the following Monday.
U.S. military personnel who are candidates for doctoral degrees must wear the appropriate academic regalia. Those who are candidates for other degrees may wear the appropriate uniform.
All active duty, National Guard, Reserves, and U.S. veterans degree candidates, who have served honorably, are eligible to receive and wear the red, white, and blue cords with academic regalia during commencement ceremonies. These cords signify the appreciation Texas A&M University feels toward our military/veteran students for their sacrifice. An Aggie Military/Veteran Reception will be held for military/veteran degree candidates and their guests. The reception will be held and these cords will be provided to eligible degree candidates. Military/veteran degree candidates may contact Dorothy Houston at email@example.com or by calling 979-845-3161 for further details.
