Commencement Ceremony Dates

Texas A&M University - College Station

The Office of the Registrar is responsible for ensuring the number of graduates at each commencement ceremony results in ceremonies of reasonably equal duration. Consequently, the determination of which colleges will graduate at which ceremony is typically not established until the seventh or eighth week of classes. Please refer to the Academic Calendar for this deadline.

Degree candidates are asked to arrive one hour before their ceremony near the second floor balcony area at Rudder. They will begin line formation 45 minutes before the ceremony.

Degree candidates are asked to arrive 45 minutes before their ceremony near the North Entry of Reed Arena. They will begin line formation 30 minutes before the ceremony.

Note: All students planning to participate in a commencement ceremony must do so in the ceremony designated for their college in the term in which they have an active graduation application.  Graduate students in interdisciplinary programs can find the ceremony designated for their program here.
