Military Commissioning
Facts
Texas A&M commissions more officers than any other university, except the service academies. The University commissions officers into all six branches of the service (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine).
Spring 2005
Military commissioning for all branches of service will occur on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Reed Arena. Final Review will follow at 3 p.m. on the Simpson Drill Field.
Summer 2004
Military commissioning for all branches of service will occur as part of the Friday 2 p.m. ceremony. It will occur after the keynote speaker and before the conferring of degrees. In addition to the formal commissioning, each branch will have its own private ceremony. You may contact the Commandant's Office (JVanalstyne@corps.tamu.edu) for further information.
