Non-Attendance at Graduation

Don Carter, registrar for A&M, reports that usually 90 percent of undergraduates and 65 percent of graduate students receiving degrees attend the ceremony.

Attendance at the graduation ceremony is based on the information provided in the online degree application. The option is available to pick up diplomas or have them mailed for a $4 mailing fee. Typically, diplomas are placed in the mail on the first Wednesday the University is open after the commencement ceremonies (December diplomas may not be sent until January).

If you are an undergraduate student who would like to change your attendance for graduation, please send an email to degree-audit@tamu.edu from your Neo email account. Graduate students may call the Office of Graduate Studies at (979)845-3631.
