Spring 1999 - Graduation Dates & Speakers
Commencement ceremonies for the spring semester of 1999 were held May 14-15.
Three different ceremonies were conducted on these days in Reed Arena.
The Office of Admissions and Records has announced the following schedule for the ceremonies:
Friday, May 14, 2:00 p.m.
Speaker: The Honorable George Bush, 41st President of the United States
- Graduates and Undergraduates in Engineering
- Graduates and Undergraduates in Liberal Arts
- Graduates and Undergraduates in Medicine
Friday, May 14, 7:30 p.m.
Speaker: The Honorable Susan Combs, Commissioner of Agriculture for Texas
- Graduates and Undergraduates in Architecture
- Graduates and Undergraduates in Business Administration and Graduate School of Business
- Graduates and Undergraduates in Veterinary Medicine
Saturday, May 15, 9:00 a.m.
Speaker: The Honorable Rick Perry, Lieutenant Governor of Texas
- Graduates and Undergraduates in Agriculture and Life Sciences
- Graduates and Undergraduates in Education
- Graduates and Undergraduates in Geosciences
- Graduates and Undergraduates in Science
