All students planning to graduate in summer 2022 must apply for graduation online at https://howdy.tamu.edu beginning May 18, 2022 on the My Record tab. Graduation applications submitted after Tuesday, July 12, 2022 will be assessed a late fee EXCEPT College of Dentistry, Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, College of Medicine, College of Nursing, and School of Public Health. The online application will be open through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Applications submitted after that date must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar using a paper graduation application. The final application deadline is Tuesday August 9, 2022 for students who will complete requirements in the summer semester.
Graduation applications will not be accepted after 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022. If you miss this deadline, you must apply for Fall 2022 graduation.
Per Student Rule 14.2, degree candidates must be enrolled in or have completed all degree requirements by 5 p.m. July 27, 2022 either in residence at Texas A&M University or at another college or university. Degree Requirement Verification in courses at other institutions must be provided to the Degree Audit Office by July 27, 2022 to graduate in August 2022.
Students requesting a name change for graduation related purposes must complete a name change request before July 27, 2022.
Students who have fiscal holds with Student Business Services (SBS) will not receive their diplomas until those holds are cleared. In order to clear a fiscal hold, please contact SBS at email@example.com. Once the hold is cleared the student can email firstname.lastname@example.org requesting that the diploma be released.
Students planning to graduate in December 2022 may begin filing applications for degrees on August 17, 2022. The filing deadline for students completing degree requirements during the fall 2022 term is September 23, 2022.
